Clinical Assistant Professor
The School of Health Professions at UT Health San Antonio is
recruiting for PRN certified physician assistants with excellent clinical
skills who are interested in developing an academic career to staff our acute
care clinic on evenings and weekends. Most clinic shifts will occur Friday
afternoons (1p – 8p) and Saturdays (8a – 5p). The selected PA must be certified
by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), licensed
by the Texas Medical Board and must have a degree from a CAHEA, CAAHEP, or
ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program.
Primary care or urgent care experience is preferred. The incumbent may have opportunities to
engage in academic activities such as teaching, research, and clinical
rotations.
This position offers a highly competitive hourly rate in accordance with the evening and weekend schedule.
