The Department of Ophthalmology is seeking a Doctor of Optometry with experience in Low Vision for a caring, patient-centric academic ophthalmology practice. The UTHSCSA Lion's Low Vision Clinic serves patients of all ages and disease progression. Applicants must have: an O.D. degree from an ACOE- accredited School or College of Optometry, passed all parts of the NBEO, and have an unrestricted State of Texas optometry license. Spanish language proficiency is desirable, but not required. This is a full-time faculty position and academic rank will be based on qualifications.
