UT Health San Antonio Department of Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgery is seeking applications for a full-time, faculty position at the
Assistant Professor/Clinical or Instructor (based on experience) level, in the
Department. The duty of the faculty member will be the Oral Surgery
education of dental students. As the assistant undergraduate Oral Surgery
director, this person will assist the director in all educational activities
involved with undergraduate Oral Surgery education. This includes lecturing,
clinical instruction, organizing seminars, etc. Applicants with scholarly and
research interests are encouraged. Applicants for the position
should have a dental degree recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
of the American Dental Association and be able to meet the requirements for the
Texas State Board of Dental Examiners or have equivalent foreign BDS or DDS
training and must have successfully completed advanced training in Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery, at least 4 years training in Oral & Maxillofacial
Surgery. This position is not expected to be filled until July 2020.
