Desktop Support Spec-Int
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, responsible for performing technical/user support for moderately complex computing environment. Serves as generalist responsible for providing broad range of user support services; PC support, training and rudimentary network support.
Job Duties:
- Troubleshoots more advanced computer workstation problems and recommends solutions and alternatives; may contact vendors and other local or remote experts for assistance with more difficult problems.
- Provides technical consulting and troubleshooting on software applications, hardware-related problems, and network problems.
- Performs desktop hardware repair for PC computer equipment, peripherals, and printers.
- Researches alternate approaches to existing software and hardware problems when standardized approaches cannot be applied.
- Consults with senior team members to determine information systems needs and recommend solutions.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education:
Associate degree or equivalent computer related certification(s) is required.
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience is required.
