Development Coordinator (Institutional Advancement)
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, responsible for providing a full range of administrative support for development activities, fundraising/promotional programs, and solicitation campaigns for Institutional Advancement. Cultivates and maintains good working relationships within our department, other departments and donors.
Job Duties:
- Supports the team in the development and implementation of fundraising strategies to encourage donations from donors and Major donors for the Institution.
- Serves as a liaison with corporations, foundations, and individuals in order to support contributions to the Institution.
- Coordinates management of deposits, gift information, and generation of donor thank you acknowledgements.
- Researches, compiles and analyzes data for donor prospecting and special projects.
- Assists with writing proposals, meeting plans and reports.
- Assists with general communication and correspondence and provides donors or constituents with information as requested.
- Coordinates activities related to fundraising programs, such as solicitation campaigns, gift acknowledgments, fundraising and promotional programs.
- Sets procedures for specific operational functions.
- Initiates contact with vendors and negotiates pricing for all aspects of high level donor cultivation and stewardship community events.
- Supports the management and growth of assigned portfolios for Development Directors in cultivating and maintaining working relationships with corporate,/individual, and prospective donors.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor's degree is required.
Experience:
Two (2) years experience is required.
Preferred:
Experience working with Social Media and light design experience.
