Psychologist

Responsible for providing a wide range of direct clinical services to students in the Student Counseling Center. Works with faculty and administrators in consultation, outreach and other collaborative initiatives.
Job Duties:
- Conducts patient intakes, assessment, testing, diagnosis, treatment, workshops, and referral
- Performs crisis intervention as needed.
- May conduct individual, couples, and group counseling and therapy sessions.
- Provides a wide range of direct clinical services to students and works with faculty and administrators in consultation, outreach and other collaborative initiatives.
- Coordinates with referring physician and family members as therapeutically indicated.
- Participates in weekly staff meetings and case consultations.
- Supervise master and PhD students
Ph.D. in clinical/counseling psychology is required.
Experience:
License by the state of Texas in Psychology or eligible to acquire license within (2) years of hire date is required.
