Manager, Learning & Leadership Development

Job Summary:

The Learning and Leadership Development Manager will design, facilitate, and implement high impact talent and leadership development strategies, programs, and systems that support and drive high performance, engagement, and realization of UT Health San Antonio's strategic initiatives.  

Job Duties:

1.  Designs and facilitates curriculum development and content delivery for leadership and other professional development programs that are aligned with the institutional strategic plan.

2.  Works with Leadership, Managers and HR partners to build leadership capability, reinforce desired behaviors, and assess professional and leadership development needs and performance gaps.

3.  Designs leadership programs using both “off-the-shelf” and custom designed content.

4.  Administers learning evaluations and assessments to ensure targeted levels of effectiveness and impact of learning programs to achieve business outcomes.

5.  Contributes to the overall success of the employee/department by identifying ways to continuously improve the learning process and enhance learning effectiveness.

6.  Develops and rolls-out post training support and reinforcement tools to sustain behavioral change and drive improved performance and business outcomes.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development is required.

Experience:

Five (5) years successful development and facilitation experience with the demonstrated ability to align organizational focus, develop leadership capability and influence behaviors that support organization strategies.
